Keep statement transactions in their columns

This is the first-page grid from the fictional Account statement example. Empty debit and credit cells keep their places; the description wraps within one cell.

Supported documents and limits

This tool targets regular tables on one page. Scans, complex merged cells, and cross-page table stitching are not supported. Detection can need correction. Review the pasted table: clipboard support and automatic number or date formatting vary between spreadsheet apps.

Common questions

Do I need to convert the whole PDF to Excel?

No. Select and copy the table you need. PDFCopy does not create an XLSX file or convert the entire document.

Will empty cells and wrapped lines stay in the grid?

The preview and clipboard table explicitly include empty cells and multiline cell content. Check the grid before copying and the spreadsheet after pasting; the destination app controls paste behavior.

Will leading zeros and number formats stay unchanged?

Not necessarily. The clipboard includes the source strings, but spreadsheet apps may change numeric-looking identifiers, dates, and numbers. Exact spreadsheet data types are not guaranteed.

Can I copy tables from a scanned PDF?

Not yet. Table mode uses the existing text layer. A scanned table needs OCR before rows and columns can be recovered.
